  • The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce Foundation is a tax –exempt organization and was established in 1987 as a New York State Corporation.  The principal office of the corporation is located at 1 Sheldon Guile Road, Owego, NY. 

    The purpose of the Foundation as provided in its Articles of Incorporation include:

    • The undertaking of various studies and research in the areas of economic planning and development, finance, housing, education and training, health, human relations and other matters of public concern.
    • The conduct of training courses, seminars, discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures and the like.
    • Any activity, which tends to promote understating, unification or improved relations among different economic, ethnic groups etc.

    The mission of the Tioga County Jr. Chamber is to create a better world by empowering young people. Promoting and supporting local businesses civic and cultural diversity in Tioga County. Developing leadership skills, community service, brainstorming business ideas, interacting with business professionals to create a healthy business climate which allows for the whole community to thrive. We believe the best way to ensure success is to get the next generation involved NOW.

    The vision of the Tioga County Jr. Chamber is to be the organization of choice for young adults, providing direction and leadership to our communities in order to effect positive change.
