Pumpelly House Estate’s Grand Re-Opening

Pumpelly House Estate (Owego) is excited to celebrate the completed expansion of the Carriage House Event Center.  The expansion includes the glassed Riverside Room which extends the inside of the Carriage House to accommodate seating up to 210 people with a maximum capacity for various events up to 300 people.  The upgraded 1800 square foot wrap around Riverside Deck overlooks Gazebo, sloping lawns, and the Susquehanna River.  The smaller deck with firepit has a garden setting.  Also included in the upgrading is the second floor Bridal readying room.

Located at 44 Front Street in the historic district of Owego, N.Y., the three acre estate features the Pumpelly House (open year round), a 4 bedroom executive style B&B with complimentary butler’s pantry and outdoor pool in addition to the Carriage House Event Center (open mid-April to mid-December).  The estate’s beautiful setting, the historic architecture of the house and the private rustic elegance of the carriage house paired with inclusive and meticulous event preparation make Pumpelly Estate a well-priced Southern Tier venue.  It is a popular favorite for wedding receptions, showers, and our famous 5-tier Holiday Tea.
