The Clinician is responsible for providing clinical services to youth and families consistent with agency mission, vision, and values.
· Provides individual, family and group therapy sessions with all youth and/or families as required by agency policies, protocols, and procedures. Provides TF-CBT to youth and families in the prevention programs. Develops discharge plans to ensure permanency, safety, and opportunity for success.
· Uses evidence-based assessment tools to complete comprehensive assessment for youth and families in care including an Initial Treatment Plan, scheduling and leading Service Plan Review meetings to coincide with FASPs or Berkshire Treatment Plans.
· Provides crisis intervention services for youth and families experiencing acute distress and dysfunctional behaviors to address safety concerns requiring immediate intervention.
· Completes and reviews case files to ensure they meet internal and external requirements. Completes all required paperwork and documentation within designated time frames.
· Attends relevant meetings and trainings as needed.
· Assumes On-Call coverage responsibilities on a rotating schedule.
· Adheres to agency policies and procedures; follows and supports agency mission, vision, and values including participating in internal surveys and data collection for continuous improvement initiatives.
· Minimum Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
· License preferred.
· 1 – 5 years experience, depending on program.
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including subject to call rotations, nights, weekends and holidays. On-Call rotation is required.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Driving is required.
· Ability to work with economically and culturally diverse population.
· Skills: organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
