    Assists in the preparation of underwriting and annual review files. Supports the Lending and Compliance Departments by conducting administrative duties including the processing of documentation forms, filing and preparation of loan files for review.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    Efforts should focus on achievement of personal, departmental and business goals as announced by CEO.

    Provide support assistance to the Business Development Manager in the generation, processing and maintenance for commercial loans.

    Maintain database of commercial loans and assist with completing annual reviews.

    Provide support in the underwriting of business loan requests.

    Maintain annual review schedule and processes for commercial loans.

    Produce loan files and other documents related to commercial lending to outside auditors and regulatory examiners. Assist with resolving loan documentation related issues and ensure loan processes and documents meet compliance standards.

    Review closed commercial loans to ensure complete and accurate files. Request clarification or additional documentation when necessary.

    Perform duties to support Lending Services, including filing of liens, perfecting titles, and recording mortgages.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Performance Measurement:

    Performance will be measured on tangible measurable objectives noted above and as assigned as well as demonstrated skills and behaviors.

    • Achievement of personal, team and business goals as established.
    • Adherence and compliance with credit union procedures and policies. This includes but is not limited to content of Internal Controls Policy, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and other credit union, state and federal procedures and regulations.
    • Review loan files for completeness within five (5) business days of receipt.
    • Goal is to have loan files 100% complete and accurate with no audit or exam findings.
    • Lien releases sent to member within three (3) business days of loan satisfaction.
    • Response to member, vendor and teammate requests within one (1) business day. If unable to produce requested information, advise of anticipated timeframe.
    • Goal of zero (0) accountable member complaints.
    • Maintain a professional work environment and business like appearance.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Experience: Prior administrative experience in a support role is required. Prior financial service experience preferred. Prior compliance, audit or lending experience also desired.

    Education: A high school education or GED is required and banking/credit union experience is preferred. An Associate Degree or higher is preferred.

    Interpersonal: This position involves contact with others inside and outside the organization and requires

    professionalism, courtesy, finesse, tact and diplomacy. This position requires the ability to engage and influence others by building rapport that lead to lasting business relationships. Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication.

    Other Skills: Computer skills include Internet research, typing, data entry and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; strong EXCEL skills desired.
