    ACCOUNTING MANAGER- EXPERIENCED – DIRECT HIRE
     
    Position:
    The Accounting Manager has one direct report (Accountant) and reports directly to the Financial Reporting Manager. The Accounting Manager is responsible for providing financial information to Controller, CFO and management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
     
    The Accounting Manager job responsibilities include (but not exclusive):
    Prepare Daily Sales Invoicing and Executive Sales Reporting
    Prepare and analyze monthly budget to actual sales reports.
    Accurately process monthly sales tax reporting.
    Record, reconcile and maintain company’s fixed assets, including internally manufactured assets
    Record, reconcile and maintain company’s intangibles assets, including monthly and annual evaluations
    Review vendor payable invoices and issue weekly vendor payments
    Prepare monthly account reconciliations and research and resolve differences by collecting and analyzing account information for accounts such as Fixed Assets, Intangible Assets and Accrued Liabilities.
    Daily involvement in detail reviewing, managing and mentoring direct report.
    Prepare monthly reconciliation and close binder.
    Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts and document business transactions.
    Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
    Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures
    Assist and interact with external auditors in completing audits.
     
    Skills/Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
    Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
    Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
    Strong ability to analyze information and present ideas and information accurately and concisely.
    Attention to detail, Deadline-Oriented, Analytical Skills, Time Management
    Quality-focused and results-driven
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
    Experience with accounting software desirable
     
    Salary Range:  $47k to $50k DOE
