DESCRIPTION:The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce invites you to a Ribbon Cutting\, and Open House on Friday\, October 22\, 2021 at 10:30 am.  The Open House will be from 10 am   2 pm.\n\nCornell Cooperative Extension\, Tioga County recently purchased a 1\,422 square foot farmhouse on     107 acres at 343 Case Hill Road\, Candor\, NY. Property consists of 75 acres open pasture and 32 wooded acres.  Along with the Farmhouse there is also a 30' x 30' two story two car garage.  The property also has an 180' x 72' indoor riding arena that was built in 2016.  Three ponds are on the property as well.  \n\nHaving land to demonstrate the latest agricultural research techniques and serve as a farm business incubator supports CCE mission of providing agriculture education to the entire community and allows home-grown youth to prosper in their ag business ventures.   The farm offers the opportunity to provide land access to the Tioga County young adults who have participated in 4H\, FFA and/or agriculture programs at the school or college.  \n\nBuying this farm proves an opportunity to expand Agriculture programming to meet new challenges in dairy and crop business viability\, as well as expand Public Health programming to meet new challenges in food access and nutrition educations\, veteran training such as Farm Ops\, career explorations\, workforce development and more.  .\n\nPlease join us to celebrate!\n\n There will be an official ribbon-cutting at\n\n10:30 am on Friday October 22\, 2021\n\n Open House from 10 am   2 pm
