Honest, Dependable Service Since 1923.  Scott Smith & Son was founded in 1923 by R. Scott Smith. Scott delivered fuel for heat and kerosene lamps door to door. In doing so, he got to know each and every customer personally. This belief in the importance of personal service has continued right up to the present.

 In 1946 his son, Scott A. Smith, joined him, thus creating Scott Smith & Son. Tioga County was growing and expanding and together they expanded to serve the growing needs of many Tioga County families.  Although the founder of the company, R. Scott Smith, has since passed away, his dedication to personal service and fair price is still very much a part of Scott Smith & Son. It's part of the reason why so many area families trust the Scott Smith & Son family as their Warm Comfort Dealer.
