| Tioga County is a great place to live and work. Not only is it located
in one of the most beautiful parts of New York State but it also
celebrates an experienced and well-trained workforce. Citizens of Tioga
County work in industry; from light or heavy manufacturing to high
technology. Or they may be part of a growing number of successful
entrepreneurs that have sprung up during the past few years. Our unique
shops and retailers have become a favorite for many people from outside
of he community.
The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce plays an important role in the community. We are a not-for-profit organization consisting of individuals, professionals and businesses both small and large. We have a common goal to create a climate in which business will grow and prosper. Chamber projects include an outstanding Business Show held the first Thursday in October, numerous networking opportunities during the year, business counseling and referrals, seminars and workshops, a business directory and buyers guide, monthly newsletter, tourism promotion, and welcome packages. Membership benefits include Group Health Plans and various other insurance programs. The Tioga Chamber is involved in many aspects of civic life and is a catalyst working with the community to promote business and quality of life. The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to a strong and vital Tioga County. |
